Nut Basket with master basket weaver Anna Liebmann. We are delighted to be welcoming back Anna for another evening of Wilow weaving. This time Anna will be showing you how to make your own Nut basket - perfect for the festive season fast approaching! We will be making a gorgeous long thin basket made from stout ribs and very fine beautiful coloured willows for weaving. Each student’s basket is likely to take on its own unique character, and people will be able to use Anna’s homegrown organic willows in striking different colours to enable this! Attention will be given to the grading of the willows and the shaping of the pieces, and each person will leave with their own masterpiece. About Anna Liebmann: Anna has taught for the Scottish Lime Centre, The Big Tree Society, Palacerigg Country Park, Urban Roots Glasgow, Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspaces Trust, and the Edinburgh Spinners Weavers and Dyers Guild, and Jupiter Artland to name a few. £48 per person. Refreshments included. All materials and tuition provided. |
