Summer Holiday Activities - in a Box 

This year our summer holiday workshops are going to be a little different because we can't be all together in the studio. Every year lots of kids come and spend either the entire week with us or full days - doing lots of different crafty activities.

We didn't want them to miss out this year, on our lovely workshops. So we've been working hard, and have put together several themed boxes for kids to enjoy. That way they can still have the opportunity to take part and be creative, as all of our summer workshop activities are now available as a take home kit.

​To make this as straight forward as possible, we have chosen some of our most popular themes for each Honey Pot at Home Box with 4 fun activities to make inside each box. They use different materials with a variety of techniques. To accompany each box there is a full set of instructions and selection of videos to watch on our very own Utube channel. (A code for these will be released on purchase) 

I will also run some live zoom events for anyone wishing to make along with me - eek (totally out of my comfort zone!)
Suitable for ages 5- 12+ 

Box 1 - Mermaid Box
Mermaid box will include the materials you need to make and create the following:

• Design and paint your own A4 Mermaid canvas
• Design and hand-build your own clay model of a mermaid sitting on the rocks
• Paint a ceramic mug (with super cool tail handle) with glaze paints
• Make a sparkly set of mermaid jewellery (necklace and bracelet)

Box 2 - Birds
Bird box will include the materials you need to make and create the following:

• Paint your own ceramic Flamingo
• Make a funky clay bird to sit on your book shelf
• Design and build a flying parrot mobile
• Design and create a multi media canvas of birds

Box 3 - Space
Space box will include the materials you need to make and create the following: 

• Design and paint a ceramic cosmic space bowl 
• Make and build a family of clay aliens
• Design and paint your own A4 canvas galaxy scene
• Design and paint your own T-shirt

Box 4 - Unicorns
Unicorn box will include the materials you need to make and create the following:

• Paint our own ceramic unicorn 
• Make and build a clay 3D Unicorn 
• Create a sparkly unicorn head-dress
• Design and paint your own T-shirt

Box 5 - Dinosaurs
Dino box will include the materials you need to make and create the following: 

• Excavate your dinosaurs from their clay eggs 
• Design and paint a ceramic dinosaur
• Make and build your own clay DINO egg cup
• Make and create a flying Pterodactyl

Box 6 - Seaside - SOLD OUT
Seaside box will include the materials you need to make and create the following:

• Paint your own ceramic Lighthouse or Seahorse
• Design and model your own clay fish (this will be fired and installed on a piece of wood) 
• Make your own bead bracelets with sea shell design beads
• Create a sea glass and driftwood wall hanger

​Price: Each box is £55 which includes all materials and firing of any ceramic pieces.

Don't want a whole box and just fancy one or two activities ?Just ask as we can make that up for you.

​You will be notified once your box is available for collection from the studio. or free delivery within EH30, EH29 and KY11 postcodes. Boxes can be posted out to you, an additional postage charge will apply.
