Fused Glass - Enamel Workshop 23rd March 6.30pm- 9pm
We offer workshops using different types of glass to create gorgeous pieces of art.
We use Oceanside Compatible COE 96 fusing glass, CBS Dichroic and Wissmach 96. This is also available to buy, from our studio, to work on your own projects as this glass can be used for stained glass, foil work as well as fusing.
We'll be introducing you to the art of glass enamelling using lead free Artisan colours in a powder form that is mixed with UGC Medium and painted or sprinkled on to the glass.
These colours are transparent/translucent and always form bubbles when kiln fired between layers of glass and create a darker textured, opaque and glossy finish when fired on the top layer of glass.
You'll be making 2 (10cm x 1)0cm pieces of glass art.
