Silver and Enamel Pendant WorkshopSilver and Enamel Pendant Workshop Friday 20th February 2026 6.30pm-9.30pm We are delighted to be welcoming local jeweller, Heather Elder for a fabulous evening as she shows us how to make a silver and enamel pendant. In this 2.5 hour workshop you will work with fine and sterling silver and learn some basic silver smithing and techniques such as • Filing and sanding • Annealing • How to add texture to metal • Drilling • How to add charms to a chain • Polishing You will also learn how to enamel your piece with a range of transparent enamels to choose from. Enamelling is a process that involves adding fine layers of finely ground glass to metal and then firing at a high temperature in a kiln until the two become fused. The results can be unpredictable but this adds to the beauty of your piece. The end result will be your own unique pendant. Our workshop is perfect for teens and adults. No experience necessary - just bring your creativity! Our cafe will be open, but you're welcome to bring your own drinks/nibbles (no alcohol please) ! |
