Kids 8 Week Art BlockFridays 3.30pm - 5pm
Suitable for kids now in P3 - P7/S1 In this mixed media block we are going to be working with clay, fused glass, bisque fired ceramics and paper with one or two surprises thrown in ! 1st November- Day of the Dead We'll be using colourful glow in the dark paints to create 'a calavera" Mexican day of the dead piece of art. (If the weather is fine we'll also celebrate with sparklers and marshmallows). 8th November - Clay Gnome House (part1) Rolling, Shaping and building your own clay gnome house. This will be bisque fired once dry and will be ready for painting in week 6. 15th November - Illuminated lantern Kids will create their own lanterns using plastic bottles and tracing paper (LED T-Light included). Perfect for the dark nights! 22nd November - Snowflake Plate Kids will create snowflake templates and learn a new plate decorating technique. 29th November - Christmas Fused Glass Working with coloured glass to create a large xmas glass panel (10cmx20cm) (stand not included but is available) 6th December - Clay Gnome House (part2) Kids will be finishing their clay gnome house by painting and then brush glazing their gnome houses. 13th December - Reindeer Kids will use watercolour and card to create a large Reindeer portrait. 20th December - Christmas Arty Party Come dressed for fun! |
