Kids Art Block 2025Pottery - Minoan Style ! Fridays 3.30pm - 5pm Suitable for kids now in P3 - P7/S1 Our next block will start on Friday 28th February - Friday 28th March 2025. Last Summer I was lucky enough to visit Crete and Greece where I was surrounded by ancient history and amazing pottery. I loved it! In this next block, I'd like to share this experience with our Art Class Kids, so I'll be introducing them to the wonderful pottery and distinct decoration styles of the Ancient Minoan Civilisation. We'll be using Terracotta clay to make several pieces with distinct shapes and then decorating them using wool and other natural materials - all techniques are 1000's of years old and still look fresh and modern today. We have been running our Friday afternoon Kids Art block for several years and have introduced our young artists to various mediums, techniques and different artists.
