Kids Friday Art Class Friday 16th January - Friday 13th February
3.30pm - 5pm Suitable for kids now in P3 - P7/S1 Pastels We'll be introducing our art class kids to pastels and discovering how to use them to create stunning art works. We're also delighted to the being joined by local artist Susan Mancini @pastelartfalkirk for some of our sessions. Fri 16th January Colour Theory: We'll be starting our block with an introduction to colour theory and art class kids will make their own colour wheels for future reference using pastels. Fri 23rd January Pastel Techniques: Learning how to use pastels and different mark making with dry and wet techniques. Fri 30th January Still Life: Observation and drawing a still life in pastel Fri 6th February Rail Bridge: Art class kids will use all the techniques to recreate the Rail Bridge in pastel. Fri 13th February Self-Portraits: Art class kids should bring a recent photo of yourself to recreate in pastel. All materials are provided. However we do have Pastel sets available to buy to continue practising at home. |
