Flower Casting WorkshopFriday 4th April or Friday 16th May 6pm - 9pm We're delighted to be welcoming Anna Hunter and Rob Grindrod to the studio for two gorgeous workshops learning how to make beautiful flower casts. Like many creative ideas Hunt & Grind grew out of a shared love of Mother Nature & the great outdoors. Inspired by the many changing faces of plants & flowers throughout the seasons, coupled with a desire to capture that beauty - they landed on blossom squashing!! In this workshop you will select your own botanicals, press them into clay, pour on plaster of paris, enjoy coffee and cafe while you wait for the plaster to set, before the big reveal of your own flower cast. There will be a selection of botanicals to choose from but you are welcome to bring your own: they could be blooms from your own garden, items you've foraged or perhaps flowers from a special occasion. Join us for a lovely evening learning how to preserve them in your own flower cast. Our workshop is perfect for teens and adults. No experience necessary - just bring your creativity!
