We're delighted that Jen from Edinburgh Paper Flowers is joining us for two gorgeous workshops, to inspire you to create gorgeous paper blooms which you can use to decorate your home or add a stunning touch to your gift wrapping. Mistletoe Workshop Friday 6th December 6.30 - 9pm Add a little Christmas magic to your décor with our festive paper mistletoe workshop! You’ll learn how to craft beautiful mistletoe using crepe paper, wire, and delicate glass pearls. With paper mistletoe, you’ll have a beautiful, everlasting piece that you can hang year after year—no watering or worrying about leaves dropping everywhere! Plus, it’s totally customisable—go classic green or add your own fun, festive flair with bright pop colours. This beginner-friendly class (ages 13+) will cover all the techniques you need, from paper dyeing, cupping, stretching, wire wrapping and assembling. With all materials included, you'll leave with your very own mistletoe—perfect to hang up and wait for that Christmas kiss! Poinsettia Paper Flower Workshop Saturday 7th December 6.30 - 9pm Our hands-on workshop will teach you how to create gorgeous paper Poinsettias. Real poinsettias may look beautiful, but as anyone who has bought one before Christmas knows - they often lose their red lustre before the New Year! The beauty of paper flowers is they never wilt or need watered guaranteeing they last the whole holiday season. As a bonus they can be stored away and unboxed again next year. Using crepe paper and wire Jen will teach you the techniques required to create a vibrant paper poinsettia — paper dyeing, cupping, stretching, wire wrapping and assembly. You can opt for traditional red or get creative with any colour you like—sparkling whites or icy blues. At the end of the experience you should leave with a stunning paper bloom to wow your friends and family! Our class is perfect for beginners (age 13+) and is hosted by paper florist Jen O’Flaherty. All materials are included, so just bring your creativity! Both workshops include festive snacks, hot drinks and you're welcome to BYOB! |
