We are delighted to be welcoming Leigh Thornton aka the Colour Dasher for a morning of crochet. Come and learn a new skill!
Leigh says that "Crocheting is an incredibly mindful and relaxing craft that's great for keeping our mental health and wellbeing in check, and once you've got the hang of the stitches, you can bring your new crochet addiction out, anytime you have a spare 5 minutes and want to chill out".
These plant pot holders are gorgeous and the best news is that they're really easy to make - once you've got the hang of it! Which means you can make lots in different colours and sizes!
This workshop is designed to be totally accessible for beginners and will cover the basics of crocheting and pattern following. So don't worry if you haven't picked up a hook before.
All materials will be provided. You'll have a choice of colours to make your plant pot holder in, and you’ll get your own crochet hook and pattern to take home and make even more plant pot holders!
Come along for a morning of creativity, crochet and a chance to switch off and relax.
