We're delighted to be collaborating with Berenice from Le Soliel et la Lune for a lovely evening making a gorgeous scented candle and your own hand-built clay wax melter, with Juliet from Honey Pot. The evening will be split into two halves: candle-making and then clay building.
Candle Making with Berenice: You will learn about the importance of temperature. Wick sizes. Percentage of wax to fragrance. You will be given a fragrance of your choice from the 6 fragrances available on the night. This is a hands on class where you will be guided in the basic methods from the start to the finish of making your very own candle, presented in a gorgeous aluminium tin.
Clay Wax-Melter with Juliet: Using earthenware clay you will be guided to hand-build your own wax melter, which will be left for us for firing and will be finished with a clear glaze, ready for collection before Christmas.
Our workshop is perfect for teens and adults.
